Started in the basement of my farm house in Vinton Iowa around the end of 1994. My then 1st love for flying Ultralight Aircraft of 25 years was packed up for the winter & my time was devoted to computers. I was a full time Electric Lineman for Alliant Energy & computer geek by night. I opened my 1st location in downtown Vinton in 1997. Soon after that I thought a flower shop in town was moving and was interested in their building, just down the block.  The owner was not planing to sell the building but sold it to me and I spent 2 years rebuilding it and using it at the same time as my store. In the early years of the new century a radio salesman stopped to check about advertising and I started on WMT radio with :30 & :60 second ads. I asked him about 2 other Computer businesses that where doing 1 hour shows each week on WMT (http://600.wmtradio.com) I was told once they are on they never get off. I really wanted to be on WMT. Within 2 weeks both businesses we off the air and I started T.E.C.H. "The Ender Computer Hour" Now today we are 5 stores strong and growing thanks to great listeners & customers like you.

​My son Nicholas & wife Janna opened the first franchise location in North Liberty. They also began the 1st Husband & Wife team on T.E.C.H. and have been well excepted to all of the WMT listening area. You can hear Nicholas on radio KXIC 800AM from Iowa City Iowa "KXIC Tech Show". Kris Wescott is the franchise operator at the RJ Ender Computers in Manchester, Ia & his 2nd location in Monticello, Ia.
